Tips in Choosing the Best Worker Recognition Gifts
Staff are one of many crucial folks who comprises a business organization. They are the people that work very hard for the business to steadily run. To show a great appreciation to them, a worker recognition gift would be best. In this fashion, you help turbo-charge your employee’s morale by giving credits for their tough work. You help them also increase their work interest and confidence to steadily do their work efficiently.
Probably, an employer must save an amount of cash for the recognition gift for his employee. But the idea is, it’s not always a good time for the worker to work, there are multiple circumstances that your worker requires a boost of confidence or interest in his/her work.
In truth, there are several bosses who disagree with this idea because they suspected of giving already the worker’s salary, bonuses, and additional benefits, so they believed that these are already enough and the worker should ask for nothing more.
In budgeting for a recognition gift for your employee, you do not have to be worried of spending giant quantity of dollars for it. A simple yet appreciative gift will do the trick. Gifts do not have to be dear to be appreciated. You can choose whether you will get it or you may create it.
Also, you’ve got to understand who you are giving to. Find a simple recognition gift to your worker that she/he will like it. For example, one of your target worker that should be given a recognition gift is interested with books, then you need to buy him a book. But, not everybody loves books, therefore you’ll have to produce a small amount of knack in memorizing your employee’s ‘not so expensive’ wants.
These gifts may come come in a straightforward and inexpensive items, but these are a lot easier to be remembered. Just don’t get tired of recognizing your good workers, appreciate them! Some of the best firefighter awards are from Hit Trophy who ship worlwide
There is also a special award/recognition program where you can give your straightforward gifts to your deserving employee. This is an excellent chance for you to hand personally the recognition gift to them, that shows how grateful you are of having them in your company.

Is Your Job the Best or the Worst?
Back when I was still a kid, I wanted to become a doctor. Then I changed my mind and decided to become a nun (don’t you just love the veil?). After that an astronaut, a teacher, a chemical engineer and even becoming a nurse.
Well, it doesn’t really matter now what I have become. Our jobs, whether we like it or not is meant to support our daily expenditures and turning our dreams into reality. Recently, CareerJournal.com published the best and the worst jobs compiled by author Les Krantz. The list was based on data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Census Bureau plus some of Krantz’s study on trade industry. So, are you ready to check if your job is one of the best or the worst? See for youself.
Out of 200 jobs studied, here’s the top 20:
1. Mathematician
2. Actuary
3. Statistician
4. Biologist
5. Software Engineer
6. Computer Systems Analyst
7. Historian
8. Sociologist
9. Industrial Designer
10. Accountant
11. Economist
12. Philosopher
13. Physicist
14. Parole Officer
15. Meteorologist
16. Medical Laboratory Technician
17. Paralegal Assistant
18. Computer Programmer
19. Motion Picture Editor
20. Astronomer
And the bottom 20:
200. Lumberjack
199. Dairy Farmer
198. Taxi Driver
197. Seaman
196. EMT
195. Roofer
194. Garbage Collector

186. Butcher
185. Nuclear Decontamination Tech
184. Nurse (LN)
183. Painter
182. Child Care Worker
181. Firefighter
Violent reactions, anyone? Well, yeah I do have one. Occupations on the bottom list pretty much makes up the working mass. Without dairy farmers, we won’t have milk every morning. Without taxi drivers, moving around an unfamiliar city will be difficult. And without nurses? Who will help doctors to care for the sick? Lumberjacks, roofers, welders and garbage collectors make everyday life easy for people on the go.
My mother who is a nurse said that she embraced her profession not for the money involved in it but for the love of serving the public. “I see miracles happen at work everyday,” said my mom before taking off for her shift at a local hospital. For her, it does not matter that nursing is at the bottom pit of the list.
I guess it’s important to mention that these jobs were ranked according to pay, growth potential, work conditions and the dangers connected to the job. But it’s just a list, no need to panic if your job is one of the worst. What’s important is the fulfillment our chosen careers give us no matter what a “best and worst” list may say.

Best Firefighter’s Gear Bag?
Happy holidays all… My parents and I are Christmas shopping for a firefighter’s gear bag for my brother. So many to choose from! I’m trying to look in forums and if that fails I might contact one of his buddies or a local station but those are last resorts. Feeling him out for an answer is also to be avoided.
His current bag has a HUGE hole in it. We could buy something close to what he has but he got it second- hand so maybe it wasn’t his preferred choice (plus it developed a big hole!).
Any firefighters or paramedics out there that can share their experience and point us in the right direction (thank you for your service btw)?
