which career path is more rewarding police officer of firefighter?
I want to find a career that is rewarding and enjoyable and was thinking about police officer or a firefighter? Anybody in these careers or know anything about them please explain what u like or dislike about your job? Also Im not that worried about money because I know Ill never be rich in these careers but on average what is the starting salary?

Well, everyone LOVES firefighters, and everyone HATES cops. Also, it’s easy to lose your job as a cop because they nail you for everything.
Feel being in law enforcement is very rewarding, having retired I now live in Vietnam and work with the undercover police here. No money involved but like to stop crimnals.
Got a lotta friends who are cops, and thats the best career IMO. Firefighters are respected but look at the work: They work 24 hour shifts (like Paramedics) and the pay isn’t all that great. As a cop there is more room for advancement, like as an investigator or to SWAT. Plenty of options in the law enforcement field.
I’d say a firefighter. What more could be more rewarding than saving the life of someone. Depending on where you live, the starting salary can range from $30,000 – $40,000.
Either one! They both pay around the same and both of them you can save peoples lives which is great. It just depends on what you are more interested in, pulling people out of burning cars/buildings or responding to domestic abuse calls or whatever.. Being a police officer you have a lot more room to advance and a lot more money can be made.
